Join Norte for a laidback and welcoming bike ride for women of all ages! We’ll do a short 3-4 mile ride, based on group speed, beginning and ending at the Norte Clubhouse at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center.

Women and girls of all ages are welcome. Young riders in 4th grade and up are encouraged to ride. 3rd grade and lower should consider hopping in a bike trailer. All riders 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Nothing brings people together like a bike ride! Join us for our first Slow Roll which falls during Smart Commute Week with TART!

Slow Rolls are our free community bike rides designed to provide a fun, social experience on two wheels. Show up, slow down, and explore your community at an entirely new pace. These family bike rides are typically just a few miles along a safe, flat route. All ages are welcome.

Traverse City Slow Rolls start at Oryana at 6:00pm and end at The Little Fleet around 7:00pm.

Get set for an exciting morning of racing at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center on Saturday, July 4th. 150 young racers will showcase their skills and determination on the balance bike course, and you can cheer them on to the finish line! This event is free and open exclusively to balance bikes for young riders aged 2-5. Participants can register online, or on the morning of the event starting at 8 am, and prepare for some heart-pumping, adorable action! Racing will begin at 9 am and end around 10:30. Join us for our Fall Fun Ride! We’ll kick off and wrap up at TC Whiskey on 14th Street, where you can soak up the autumn colors. Our route features a scenic four-mile loop around Boardman Lake, perfect for a leisurely ride. After we finish, stick around for a tasty treat from the food truck parked right outside TC Whiskey. Enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, and quality time with family and friends as we celebrate the beauty of fall together.

Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day encourages healthier, more eco-friendly ways for students to get to school. Norte helps facilitate this event at schools across Northern Michigan. This version of the Iceman (Sno-Cone) is a race for youngsters 10 & under. The courses will consist of a short (1/4 mile) and relatively flat loop around Timber Ridge Resort for the very youngest riders and a 1.5 mile course for older riders.

Registration is FREE. All participants receive a medal, a bike number plate, and more! There are no registration fees for this event thanks to the generosity of our Iceman riders.
